hey so people tell me that ethernet is fasteer but when i plug mine in my internet speed goes from 60 mbs to 2 mbs any help? my top speed is sometimes 150 mbs wihtout ethernet

I have a xbox one s and i keep getting lag issues so i tried plugging a ethernet cable but that slows it down even more

I can really depend on the type of Ethernet cable you have it can have a cap on it, Try checking the wire or the setting on your Xbox. Does your gameplay get affected in any way?

Only thing I can think of is your wifi hub's settings. It's important to remember that your Xbox's Wifi and ethernet socket have separate local IP addresses. Did you set your hub's DMZ to your Xbox's Wifi IP address?
