#"Your other Xbox is taking a long time to sync to the cloud"

I really want to fix this problem. It keeps making me lose progress. I play on at least two different Xbox consoles in two different locations. Both of them have a constant connection to the internet. Slow internet in one location, but they are always online when I play.

Then this happens, and I don't have my latest save data. Why? Is there something I can do on a console before I leave to ensure that all the saves have been properly synced? If there's a manual step I can take, I absolutely will.

  • ** What did I try to do?**
I tried to play a game in first one location, and then another. I was hoping to continue the save file seamlessly on the second console. It happens across multiple games (most recently, Yakuza Zero) and even multiple generations of consoles. I've had it happen on a One S, a Series S, and a Series X.
I'm not in the Xbox Insider program. I am using the dashboard version generally available by default.

  • What have I tried?
I tried leaving the console on a little while after exiting the game, so it would sync.
I tried closing the game completely so that it wouldn't be in a Quick Resume state.
