@abstract hawk Thanks for posting! Please remember, support here is volunteer-based and not official. Be patient after posting, and don’t spam or ask in other channels.
If your issue is about accounts, billing, contact Xbox Support directly.
If your issue is related to an Enforcement action, no one here can help.
To help us help you, make sure to answer:
- What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)
- **What have you tried to do to fix it already? **(List everything you’ve done to fix it.)
- Have you searched the error code or for similar problems? (Tell us what you found.)
If you don’t answer these, you might not get a response.
You can store them, but you can't play them.
They can be copied/stored there.
They can not be played from there.
USB drives are too slow to run Series S/X games. You need to either use the internal or buy an expansion card.
Where could I buy TB for good price?
Amazon.
The price won’t be good though they are very expensive.
Seagate and western digital are the only two manufacturers.
No
That is very likely to not be the one you want..
These things are like 200 dollars. You might get lucky and find one on sale for 150.
This is what the tags say “External Host Hard Drive Conversion Box for Xbox Series x/s,m.2 Hard Drive Expansion Card Converter”
No. Only Seagate or western digital.
That is a scam adaptor. I guarantee it doesn’t work.
That's not it. It's the one he just showed. They're very specific.
There are no adaptors that work.
Yep. You really need to think about if you need it or not
Well I got a 368 gb xbonx even it was meant to be a 500 gb one
There's always less space then it says - Think of an XBox like a mini computer.. it needs saved spaced for saved games, important files for the OS, etc.
Well I at least have my spare Xbox One
But like Tacti says, you need to make the decision on the expansion card based on your actual needs..
Like for me, the decision was easy - I constantly switch between different games, so rather then constantly uninstall games to install new ones, I have both a USB drive (for legacy games) and the expansion card.
