#MSFS 2024 GUI not working on Gamepass Ultimate

i just got gamepass ultimate yesterday and launched msfs 2024 on it
it launches and everything but atfer loading it asks me if i want to enable screen narration or skip, and the gui simply doesnt work at all
i cant press any buttons on my xbox controller yet all the other gamepass games work
is this a bug that other people have? also idk if this is important but my in game mouse cursor was showing in the top top left was stuck on the edge of the screen

I'm not sure if this would actually help, but have you tried unplugging your mouse? It might be detecting your mouse and interfering with your controller.

i am on macbook may that be a problem?

Are you playing the game directly from your macbook or the cloud?

Then yeah, that's Cloud.

afaik that shouldn't matter, since XCloud can be used from any platform that can access a web browser.

I mean, it shouldn't make a difference, but if you can't play it through your PC for whatever reason, trying a different platform is usually a good idea.
