I put my disc in and it just doesn’t do anything. I thought it was because it was scratched but I tried every single one and nothing. Then yesterday I put it in and it worked but I shut off my Xbox and when I turned it back on the same problem came back.

To help us help you, make sure to answer:

  • What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)
  • **What have you tried to do to fix it already? **(List everything you’ve done to fix it.)

Xbox 1. Possibly the oldest Xbox known to man

little torrent

I already looked at that same thing

#

Pretty much just says it’s either dirty or your xbox is cooked

narrow kelp

and u followed all the steps cause one says gets the console serviced?

little torrent
#

No im hoping i wont have to do that

narrow kelp
#

follow all steps to rule it out then sadly if it needs serviced theres not much we can do here

little torrent
#

Damn

#

But I just wanna know why it works perfectly sometimes

#

Like it would be one thing if it just never works

narrow kelp
#

cause sometimes its triggering the right switch to say disc in drive and other times not which is hinting service needed
