Xbox Achievement points aka Gamerscore comes from doing specific things in games. These do nothing. They show up as a number next to your name for 'bragging rights'
Bing / Xbox / Microsoft Rewards Points are totally seperate and you sign up for that program and get a small number of points for doing searches, or launching specific game pass games when it tells you, etc.
These can be redeemed through https://rewards.bing.com/welcome
