I want to pair my controller but i literally can’t, my controller won’t turn on if i hold the xbox button it will flash and then when i let go it will turn off again, and if i try to hit the pair button on the xbox it makes a “DINK” type of noise idk how to explain but i quite literally can not connect my controller i have tried everything, removing controller batteries and putting back in, holding power button for 10 seconds and unplugging for 30 second i literally can’t get anything to work

Have you replaced the batteries?
okay well that fixed the controller, thanks. But the xbox itself still won’t enter pairing mode
i know a solution but it takes a while and i have to do it everytime
i have to go to xbox remote play on my phone by connecting the controller to my phone and then i go to the settings from remote play on my phone and connect it there
And what's happening if you hold the sync button on the console?
it makes this weird noise i can’t type it but i do have a video of it if i can DM you
no
Which console?
XBOX series X
You're definitely pressing the right button?
I'm going to assume that means you were pressing the eject button for the disc drive.
