I just recently got a new monitor and I decided to hookup both my PC and xsx to it. My pc is working but my xbox isnt turning on at all (the light in the power button doesnt even come on)

Things I have tried so far: Making sure everything is plugged in the places it should be
(The power cord is connected to a power strip along with other cords. These ones work just fine)
and yes, I did try to move the power cord to another part of the power strip. Still no response from the xbox
