can someone help me change my email on xbox i changed the email on my microsoft i restarted my xbox and it still says the old email

i tried to change the email on xbox and it led me over to microsoft and i changed it there then deleted the old one and i verified my new one too

the way to 'change' the email address associated with a microsoft/xbox account is to add an alias.
i'm not sure what you mean by 'deleted the old one' but that may have been a mistake
