#Xbox Account Sign In (MAY BE VERY DIFFICULT)

I have an Xbox account with a lot of data on some games and I just want to get back into it for obvious reasons.
Here are the details

I DO have the 6 digit PIN for the Xbox account.
I MIGHT have the regular email password to sign in (I have a list of passwords and not sure which is it_
I DO NOT have access to the email it being a @me.com email/iCloud.

Ever since I updated my Xbox to go online it has been requiring me to do this right after I sign in
SIGN IN "If you have a Microsoft account, use that here. Otherwise, enter your preferred email or phone number to create a new account.
I use a new Microsoft email then I am met with error code "0x80a4001".

CONCERNS
It seems the fix to the error code is removing my profile or the account from my Xbox and resigning in all together. Is this true cause I have seen people say it does not work.
My second concern is if I do this will it effect any data or me signing in if I do not have access to the email?

QUESTIONS
Let's say I don't get the error code does my old Xbox email automatically switch to the new one I entered I assume for migrating purposes because I do not want to lose anything.

Sorry I'm just very concerned and scared of losing anything. If anyone can help or give some input that'll be greatly appreciated thanks!

NOTE: Forgot to mention but for the @me.com email I have the phone number for it but not the old iPhone password to fully get back into the email. I can maybe try just getting access to it but no old data through apple support.

If that is not possible should I try signing into Xbox through the phone number and see if it wants to give me a code instead.
Or as I said earlier when I enter the PIN and it says for me to enter a Microsoft Account should I enter the phone number connected to the email instead to create a new one? Sorry if this is very confusing

To help us help you, make sure to answer:

  • What did you try to do and what happened? (Be specific—mention your Xbox model, PC version, Insider ring, or anything relevant.)

Xbox Account Sign In (MAY BE VERY DIFFICULT)

It seems I will not be able to get into the email unless through apple support which I can try or simply logging in through Xbox by going down the list of passwords

#

Also when I want to log into the Xbox account through my computer instead it's asking for microsoft account meaning I can't use the @me.com? I am so confused

#

also through battlenet because I want to link my BO4 to my PC as well it also wants me to use a Microsoft email so is my only choice is some how getting rid of that error and entering the Microsoft email and will my data/account transfer to that email?

#

I GOT THE PASSWORD FOR THE ACCOUNT it is just asking for a code to be sent to the email so I’ll try with apple support to get it

#

So the only thing I need is access to that email and we are good I’ll try later tonight with his old passwords

Those websites are not asking for "a microsoft email", they are asking for the email address that you use to log in to your "microsoft/xbox account"

The email that your "microsoft account" is connected to can be anything, not just hotmail/office365/msn.com mails.

Whatever email you pick to be the primary login for your microsoft/xbox account you need to make sure it is going to last a long time. And that you aren't going to forget it.
