#[macOS] DualSense vibrates while playing through Safari but not on Edge.

I absolutely LOVE Xbox Cloud Gaming!

Unfortunately, I’ve come across a minor inconvenience, and I hope someone can help me fix it.

Basically, I’m on macOS, and on the Safari browser, my DualSense controller vibrates while playing certain games. However, when I switch to Edge, which is supposed to be the best browser for Xbox Cloud Gaming, the rumble isn’t there, even though all the options are enabled.

Use safari

# analog kayak Use safari

Sure but why doesn’t Edge support gamepad rumble on macOS if that’s the case?

  • on safari i can’t use clarity boost but i want to have the best of both worlds

Edge is one of the supported browsers for windows cloud gaming.

On Mac safari is the supported browser and chrome seems to support most everything. Edge and Firefox do not.

Not all software has all the same capabilities.

But as I said there are no vibrations

Yep

#

Safari is the supported browser and is the one that definitely supports more advanced controller control.

i wish firefox supported xbox cloud gaming

You can play it through chrome, Firefox, edge, brave, etc and each has varying degrees of “works” because they aren’t the supported ones

#

Firefox barely supports the controller at all. It often gets confused about what button you’re clicking.

Since safari is then supported browser that Xcloud is tested and designed against for Mac’s it is the one you should be using
