I have am xbox series S and im trying to connect it to my xbox via the HDMI cable but nothing is happening. Ive tried turning off both the console and laptop and then plugging in the cable, using the Xbox app on my phone to setup the console, and ive tried Bluetooth but it always asks for a pin and still says to try connecting again.
Help me.

Almost zero laptops have HDMI inputs.
99.9999% of laptops just have hdmi outputs so what you are trying to do is not possible
