Hi, I have just bought an Xbox series x the other week, and I have been enjoying it very much, one problem though, when I play a series x/s optimized game, I can only play for a duration (around 5-45 mins) until the game closes itself or the Xbox turns off (mostly the game closing itself). The Xbox doesn't tell me why the game closed itself, it just happens. So I have to use cloud gaming to as a workaround for now. Any solutions or maybe a reason why its doing this?

I tried reseting the console and changing the orientation of the console. It is a series x 1TB in black colour. I have also tried turning off 4K
No error code was present after the game crashes
this doesnt occur when playing Xbox one/360/OG Xbox titles btw

Is the game installed to the internal storage or an expansion card?

it happens on many series x/s games, fortnite, halo infinite and the newly released goat simulator, they are all on internal storage
i dont have a expansion card just a external usb ssd with 1tb

i did get it used im not sure if they replaced the thermal paste with smthing
