My feiend has game pass ultimate(not a trial) but whenever he goes to the website to give me a 14 day t rial it shows him its only for game pass ultimate members

As was said earlier, either they are on a trial, they're not eligible to give codes to people, or the offer is not available.

There's nothing more that can be done or said if it won't allow them to create a code/link.
