I want to buy some extra storage for my series s. Idk much abt parts so what’s the difference between ssd and hard drives? A 500gb on wd black is £67.99 on sale. On Amazon, I found a seagate external hard drive for £49.99 but with 1TB

the first column is an official "series s/x expansion card" and there are options from seagate and western digital.

they are not the same thing as a regular ssd or hard drive

faster to load files? faster to save files? like... whatever you use a storage device for an SSD is faster than hard drive

1)transferring the games as nothing too do with your internet.
2)You need a internet connection if the game requires one this as nothing too do with storage,

i think your confusing data transfer speeds and internet speeds they are not the same thing

you do not need a internet connection to transfer a file from one local drive too a other local drive.

The expansion slot on the console is for a expansion card, there is only 2 on the market 1 is made by Weston digital and one by seagate they both do the same thing,

If you want to run Series games then you will need one of the 2 expansion cards above, a USB drive will only be good too store the game and you will need too transfer it too the internal drive for it too play, As above you do not need a internet connection to do this,

That is a hard drive.
It is not one of the official storage expansion cards.

Per the comparison image shared previously, that hard drive would not allow you to play modern Seires S/X optimized games.
