I am unable to log into my Xbox account on my Xbox 360 at all and am aware it may also affect my ability to log into my account on my Xbox Series X, despite resetting my password and attempting to re-download it. And now I am unable to download my Xbox account onto my Xbox 360 due to this error. I am aware of it becoming a trending issue, but would respectfully like to bring it up as well. Thank you.

Xbox 360 E, I have attempted to log into Xbox Live on my Xbox 360 and found Error Code 8015D086, and then proceeded to change my account password as per suggestion on a forum on this exact same issue. I am currently having issues attempting to re-download my account onto my Xbox.

I have just checked on my Xbox Series X and the login is not encountering any problems, 8015D086/8015D000 is only occuring on my Xbox 360 E.

I have just changed my password three times now, and it is still not working.

I have attempted multiple different solutions in forums.

Clearing the cache - Did not work.
Changing password multiple times - Did not work.
Setting DNS to Manual towards 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 - Did not work.

#

I have 2FA and Passwordless COMPLETELY disabled

I have attempted several different app passwords on my Xbox 360, didn't work.

Unsubscribing to Xbox Game Pass to login - Did not work.

As an experiment, I tried to use Battleblock Theatre to log into my 360 since it's backwards compatible on my Series X and that the Series X works just fine.

Unfortunately, still ran into it.

UPDATE: Upon my fifth App Password attempt, my profile is now running nominally and Xbox Live connection has stabilised.

I would love to keep this ticket up, in case I experience another login blackout.

Unfortunately, after I fixed the profile sign in, the Ethernet port isn't working anymore. Every time I plug in a working cable to my laptop, doesn't work for nothing.

You're plugging your cable into your laptop? Why? Are you running an WiFi <-> ethernet bridge on the laptop?

Managed to fix the Ethernet issue, by the way. Just had to disable and enable back on again the bridge.

# shut halo could you help me?

What I did was log into the Xbox website via a laptop, then removing all methods of logging into my Microsoft account except KEEPING Email and Password logins. Then enable 2FA and from there it's a luck of the draw for getting an App Password. If the one generated doesn't work when you're logging into your Xbox 360, just make a new one and try again. Keep making a new App Password each time you try to log in, and eventually it'll budge.

App passwords should only contain letters and numbers.

#
