When playing siege my d pad doesnt work as quickly, as in i cant keep clicking right on the d pad to keep going right. any fixes?

i have tried the usual of restarting my console and deleting the game but the d pad still doesnt work, even when the game is on in the background it happens, but only if i actually load in a game and not just sit in the menu. tried it with another controller and it does the same thing
