Was playing cod and it just randomly turned off I had put brand new batteries like 2 hours before. When I plug it in there no vibration and it just doesn’t turn on don’t know what to do. I think I’ve done like a power cycle for my Xbox or something but that didn’t help. Just got the controller on my desk now with no batteries in it now

You haven’t accidentally gotten liquid in/on it before, have you? Liquid damage can corrode the boards inside the controller over time and cause random malfunctions depending on what’s corroded. If you don’t mind me asking, what type of controller is this happening to? If it’s expensive, can you get it repaired by a technician for less than the controller costs?
