Xbox consoles do not support USB audio

#

there are like 2 or 3 specifically made xbox-compatible headsets that plug in to USB to power part of their transmitter, but generally speaking "USB HEadsets" aren't going to work

#

steelseries has specific xbox ones on their site

i use a usbc to jack to connect it to the controller , but the xbox finds the headset

#

what adapator?

#

did the headset come with a headphone jack cable? if so, you can use that

kindred hatch
#

its a usb c ( in my headset) to jack (in the controller)

spice wyvern
#

right but where did those adaptor come from?

kindred hatch
#

new from the store

spice wyvern
#

what store? what adpator? do you have a link?

that's a very complicated transition and unless the headset is specifically designed to support that, then it isn't going to work

kindred hatch
#

just from a store that supports audio😭

spice wyvern
#

okay well i don't know what you bought, and i'm 9/10 sure that it is not going to work lol

#

converting a headphone output to a usb-c audio interface is complicated. it isn't something a $2 converter is going to do

kindred hatch
#

wel it was 30 in total

#

3.5mm Audio cable from Hama 1,5 m

#

and

#

aux adapter usbc (call+ sound) from cellularline

well that adaptor is not going to work... you need a headset that either comes with a headphone cable or one that specifically says it works with xbox wireless
