New controller battery doesn't work

Hey

So yesterday I got my new Xbox battery , but it seems like it Is not working fine, or maybe I did something wrong

So when I use it with the USB c cable that came with it, I can use the controller. The console even show the logo saying that it is charging

And then, when I unplug it, it just doesn't work, as it just don't charge at all
