#Controller Isn't opening

I have two controllers at home, and one of them mysteriously broke a while ago. It won't open at all, and I've tried changing the batteries many times now, but it still doesn't work. It recently happened to the other controller I have. I saw a tutorial on YouTube saying to roll the batteries, "and it should work," but the light blinks for a split second instead of opening. Has anyone else had the same problems?😭

I was playing a game on Xbox, and the controller ran out of batteries, so I went to get new ones. I put them in, but they didn't even open or blink. I searched many different YouTube tutorials to fix it, and one of the things that showed a difference was rolling the batteries around, and the Xbox icon blinking for a split second. I could barely find anyone with similar problems.

Does the controller turn on when wired?

Sounds like a dead controller. If it’s under warranty, send it for repairs.
