This morning I turned on my Xbox, and it had the power off sound effect play. The tv was not connected to it and when I pressed the power button a second time, it turned on and played the power on sound effect, and then the power off sound effect. The Xbox still turned on though, but none of the games on my home screen are there, except for what I have in the disc tray. I googled this and I was told to "power cycle" the Xbox by holding down the power button for atleast 10 seconds, and that seemed to work, the Xbox started up normally but the games still weren't there I think and the Xbox just turned off.
