#Xbox controller wont connect

My xbox controller was connected perfectly fine to my laptop for days allowing me to play eafc24. I decided to connect to my xbox again for a while and now when trying to reconnect to my laptop the laptop is unable to find the controller can anyone help?

my laptop is a Lenovo I'm not sure how to find the version though

I'm not sure if this is relevant but the controller is black and came with an xbox one s and has no modifications as far as I am aware
