I plugged my controller into my xbox, but it keeps shutting off after 30 seconds

Its an xbox series s and I never dropped it I tried restarting my xbox but that didn't help

Could be an issue with a few things:

  1. USB cable - have you got another one to try?
  2. Do you have issues using it wirelessly (if it has wireless capability)
  3. Have you tried another controller?
