I recently tried to connect to Live on my 360 after a long time of being disconnected, but whenever I try to sign-in to any profile, it gives a range of error codes, two of which I have done the necessary steps to solve. But, a new one has popped up "80004005". It also says, "We can't access Xbox Live through your console. Try your purchase on Xbox.com and add the item to the download queue on your Xbox console". Can anyone provide some information about this?

I'm getting the error when I try to sign in to Live
is a network connection test successful for connecting too xbox live if you run a network test from network settings
I can't run a connection test because it's also giving me another error code when I try to sign in on my main account (8015D000) and I've reset my password

Well the security check asking for my information recognizes my password change yet it still refuses to connect
Since you said that its a account you have not used for some time it could be that your just entering the wrong info but maybe a child account

No it's just that it has been awhile since I've signed on with this profile on this 360, I use it all the time on my series x. There is another profile, my dad's that has the same issue of a security check, and it is the primary account the 360 automatically tries to sign in but can't. And he refuses to fix it

Okay, there's also been several points to where I've bypassed the security check on his profile and signed on no problem, I'll look into that as well, thank you for your help
you shouldnt be able too bypass checks they there for a reason. If you somehow have then thats very likley the issue. But support will be able too look at the account for you 🙂
