Heyo, about 2 months ago I bought a new official xbox controller, and this morning when I turned on my xbox and hopped into a game, I realised my camera would sometimes pan upwards even if my finger was off the joystick. Is this a software problem or I need to buy a new controller?

(I've recalibrated the controller and updated it, and it's still the same.)

Just gonna say that it usually only happens if I touch the right joystick, and it doesn't always happen.

Classic

Is it still under warranty?

How would I check that?

Update: my xbox one's warranty has expired, but the controllers warranty is still there

Okay so send it in for repair

#

But don’t expect much, I sent mine in 2 weeks ago and then when I got it back they hadn’t fixed it

I'll try and clean the inside and see if that helps

#

my non official rock candy controller lasted longer than this 🤦‍♂️

I wouldn’t buy another official xbox controller in the future if I were you

#

I refuse to give my money to them anymore

I'm just gonna send it to a local repair shop
