I was mid-round in Rainbow Six: Siege, and my controller randomly started spamming LT and RT. It is an Xbox one controller connected to an Xbox one s. Does anyone know why & how I can fix this?

  1. I was just playing R6 and my controller started wetting the bed.

  2. I have tried 'unjamming' the triggers, to no avail.

  3. I searched and only found old articles about sticky buttons.

Have you turned the controller and console off and on again?

Yes

Does this happen in other games?

Yes it's console wide, I'm coming to realize.

Tried updating the controller, nothin

Sounds like you need a new controller then.

Is there any way to fix this?

You can send it to Microsoft to repair, but if it's out of warranty it will cost you.

At that point you're better off just buying a new controller.
