My xbox wont load discs

I’ve put my Hogwarts legacy disc in and it just wont load at all it takes it in but wont load it or download the game

i have an xbox one the original one ive tried wiping the disc down checking if other discs work to see if its the reader or the disc itself but none are working i dont get an error code nothing comes up the disc just wont register as if ive put nothing in it

did u try using xbox mobile app to install the game make sure its the xb1 version not series version. and use the disc as a play disc?

If none of ur discs are reading then its more than likely ur disc drive.

if something is covering the disc drive part it will not read discs, also if your xbox is too hot, the disc drive can possibly stop to save the disc from breaking, scratching, etc

this is a personal thing that happened to me with my skyrim disc, i tried everything but nothing worked until i moved my battery off of my disc drive part and the disc began working

the disc drive part is somewhat true if your xbox fan isnt cleaned annually and it gets hot easily

i hav an xbox one though not sure about the newer verisons

They do not need to be cleaned. They won't overheat from dust. And I have not seen any link that suggest the disc reader would automatically stop if the console is overheating.

i think my brothers coming home this weekend with one

The only way to test if its the disc drive or the discs is to test a discs on another console.
