I need some help because I’m getting a new Xbox, and the problem is, that I have some games on disk * I Know you can transfer disk games to a new Xbox by uploading them to cloud, but the reason I had to get a new one is because I kept getting an Error message and it would not let me access my Xbox, so I cant upload. Is there any way I can do it via Computer or on the Xbox app? my phone or pc

Your game saves and digitally purchased games automatically transfer to any other xbox via the cloud

Your disc based games do not. You have to use the actual disc in the new console. If you have a Series S which does not have a disc console, then you can't

i'm not sure what you asked or what they answered or whether whatever they said even made sense. But here are the facts:

#

  1. If you have game saves from one console they will go through the cloud automatically to yout new console

  2. If you have digitally purchased games on one console they will installable on your new console, you just have to click 'install' when you look the game up in the store

  3. If you have Disc based games then you must use the disc on the new console, if you have a Series S that will of course not work

  4. There is an option to copy games from one console to another when you are setting up the new console. This saves internet usage and speeds things up if you have slow internet. This doesn't work if both consoles can't be turned on and connected to the network at the same time. It also is optional.
