Check if you connected to the right port. Otherwise test the cable with a pc, laptop etc and see if that works. If not, unplug your console and wait 1 minute then try again

#

If it still doesn‘t work do the same with your tv

It works with my ps5

As @tardy creek said, a new cable is one way to troubleshoot but it could be your hdmi port on the console is broken. Can you try on another tv or monitor?

So to be clear:

  1. You are using the exact same cable on the PS5 and the Xbox.
  2. The cable is connected to the exact same input on the TV.
  3. You are turning off the consoles and teh TV each time you swap the cable from teh ps5 to the xbox
  4. the Xbox does nto work with any tv?

Does it work when you use troubleshooter mode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ecA1_s-axo

To start your Xbox Series X|S into safe mode, follow these steps:

Turn off your console.
Press and hold the power button and the sync button simultaneously for a few seconds until you hear a beep.
Release the sync button but continue holding the power button until you hear a second beep.

You will be brought to the Safe Mode menu.
