I reset my Xbox back to factory settings and can’t log in to my main account as I have no idea what the password is due to me not having access to the old email.

select the option that says i dont have these on the password reset
Its important too keep your infomation updated and know it. Losing access too your email or number etc is like losing your house keys

your last option would be the account recovery form https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/help-with-the-microsoft-account-recovery-form-b19c02d1-a782-dee6-93c3-dc8113b20c42 but if you simply do not know the info or dont have access to anything then your like out of luck sorry
