#Audio glitching on Xbox Series X

Hi I have a relatively new Xbox Series X. I purchased it last year. Ever since I've had it I have the same issue though it seems to he getting worse.

When playing certain games, especially if in a discord call on console(but not exclusively so), all the audio coming through my headphones becomes distorted and glitchy/robotic. When this happens I cannot open the console menu to close my game. Also it's not just the game audio. Chat, menu sounds, etc are all effected. The only way to stop it is to force shut off my entire console.

Now when it happens I noticed the distorted audio is only through my headphones. It functions normally through my TV speakers but I still can't close my game. I can ignore it and keep playing my game if I unplug my headphones. But I need to shut down the system when done because it can't close the game.

Now before anyone suggests the problem is my headphones- it is not my headphones. I have very high quality wired headphones. They function excellent on my phone, my Ps5, everything else. And on my Xbox they function at all other times.

It does seem to only happen on certain games, mainly Ark Survival Ascended, but no one on the Ark discord seems to have this problem besides me.

Any tips? Or do I need to throw the whole garbage system in the trash and stick to Playstation 5 which has never given me issues as game breaking as this?

I want to specify the Xbox itself will not open any other menu than the one to turn the entire console off. There is no social, messages, or any menu to close my game or return to home screen.

Are you in the insiders program?

Have you submitted Feedback with the enhanced audio/video option selected?

Your save data, friend list, purchases, etc are in the cloud. They will download to any Xbox you log in to.
You can also do a factory reset that doesn’t delete your local games and stuff so you don’t even have to redownload
