USB Capture game screenshots cant view | XBOX | Page 1

So basically i like to View My Captured screenshots on Xbox So i bought 128gig usb stick to capture all my screenshots so that they dont get deleted. After played many different games in many month . When i go to My captures on external drive The old ones are not showing anymore just recent games? I can view them on Pc there are there but not on xbox why is this happning is it date related???

Have you done a factory reset or moved the drive between consoles? The captures app will only show the captures taken on the specific consoel you took them on and doesn't remember things past a factory reset.

The files should be on the drive though forever.

I have not done factory reset or moved between consol i only have serie x so

I think its just sucks just because the screenshots are 2 or 3 month old you cant view them anymore

I just want someone to clarify so i can move on i dont want to west time take screenhost if i cant view them later on its just pointless

Um one other thing

In the captures app did you set the filter on the top left to “external drive”?

Otherwise it shows you captures on the service, which do expire

yes external drive

I only use external drive when taking screenshots or vidoe

on the top right game list i only se 3 games the rest old ones not showing

How far back were the captures that have disappeared taken? Earlier than ~April?
