#Transfer game saves manually from one Xbox 360 S to another 360 S?

A little while ago my xbox 360 s started having a flashing red dot error, max fan spin, and would shut down immediately. I got that fixed by replacing the failed capacitors on the thermal circuit with copper jumpers. It immediately had another problem though, as now the light stays green for about a second before turning to a solid red dot. The recommendation I got from the repair guy who fixed the first issue was to have the APU and Southbridge chips reballed, though he didn't have the tools to do that. While I look for someone to try to repair the solid red dot issue (btw, if anyone knows anyone who may be able to repair that in the eastern US, please let me know), is there a way to just copy the files from the hard drive to another 360's hard drive? I know its more complicated than just using two sata connectors and a pc because MS decided to pair the drive and motherboard, but I did see guides online like this one that used custom made software to successfully and safely transfer game saves: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4m2rKj1d6KE
