I got Red Dead Redemption 2 a couple days back and went to go play it this morning, only for it to bug a few times and freeze. One time, it froze and kicked me off so I gave it a second and went back on. Once I was on, it would give me the same loading screen but didn’t load into the game. It only got worse and worse, eventually just becoming a black screen.

I searched up how to fix this and I was told to go into my settings and restart my Xbox but, press the save games and apps. I pressed it and took about 2 hours to figure it out.

I had to log into a new account since I don’t know the details for the original one but, once I got in, I still had all my games.

But, I tried clicking on RDR2 and it told me I don’t have it, even though I bought it. It for some reason said I have the cheaper one I didn’t buy (still rdr2 not rdr) and said it needed installing. However, when trying to install it, it says it doesn’t need it and wasn’t in my queue even though I can’t play it.

This means I’ve basically lost atleast £150 since all the games I paid for weren’t that cheap.

It might be because of my new account but I have no clue what I used for my old account. I don’t even know the email for it.

Game saves, achievements, purchases, dlc, friend lists, etc are part of your account.

You need to figure out your old username and password if you want to access your old saves.

I also strongly suggest using a password manager app to keep track of your logins. I personally use 1Password but there are many options
