I’m currently inable to connect to multiplayer across any multiplayer games on Xbox Series X, this started happening to me yesterday. Most games say I just don’t have an internet connection, or multiplayer isn’t available. I have gone through numerous troubleshooting and the issue has still gone unresolved for me making me inclined to believe it’s a service outage of some sort.
My Xbox model: Xbox Series X
OS version: 10.0.26100.1968
Troubleshooting I’ve gone through (to unfortunately no avail):
- I restarted my console numerous times
- I checked all of my Xbox privacy settings to make sure multiplayer was enabled/allowed across all categories
- I’ve checked to make sure I wasn’t issued an enforcement suspension
- I’ve reconnected to my internet several times, as well as tried a different connection (my cellular hotspot)
- I’ve cleared my MAC address
- I’ve factory reset my console, erasing all games, apps, data, and settings
As mentioned, after going through all of these steps, I’m still inable to connect to multiplayer, leading me to believe it’s an outage, despite Xbox’s status page claiming everything is currently up and running.
