so for some reason i can't log into xbox app

Recently i disconnected my account from xbox app, I don't remember why but I did.
Just today i was trying to get a clip an it popped up with the sign in menu, normal, right? Well not necessarily, after I clicked my name it sent me to xbox app for a bout two seconds before it sent me BACK to the sign in menu so if there's any mods that can explain that's all I need, ping for response.
