#Xbox menus being weird

I don’t know if I’m the only one having this issue but I play on an Xbox series X and while it does what it needs to do very well and smoothly, I’ve noticed that in certain areas of the console, the actions such as scrolling or even moving from one tile to the next is a bit choppy and laggy and overall not an amazing experience

So I was wondering if there’s is a way to fix this or if it is just something with the most recent Xbox non-insider update because it only started happening within that past week or 2 and it has made scrolling through the Microsoft store and even the game pass tab a bit of a pain and it doesn’t act as it’s supposed to with it being so choppy on those certain menus

If there is a way to fix this, please let me know so I can do that fix and hopefully get the choppy menus resolved as while I’m trying to buy a game or anything like that, it doesn’t feel how it’s supposed to feel which is smooth and fast

There are some known games that interact badly with the rest of the system while being played. Does this continue to happen if you quit the running game (menu button -> quit from the MRU tile)? If so, it's the game.

hey there, it’s not just you. i’ve noticed it as well on my series X since the update that just recently rolled out to the public this last week of august. there’s a decent bit of lag/choppiness when navigating the xbox menus/dashboard. and i’ve additionally noticed that the animation is slightly buggy when you press the 3 lines button over an app/game to pull up the options card for it (the cards that lets you uninstall the game, add it to home, add it to a group, etc)

There's a new bug in the latest update where the animation renders at normal speed, but the animation itself isn't smooth because the positions are sometimes messed up. That's a separate issue from the other one which is about distinctly lower frame rates. FYI.
