Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.
If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.
If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.
Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
What exactly is the problem?
I have a pre owned disc I got a bit back and never used and I’m curious if I can get it on virtual because I can’t use a disc dispenser on a Xbox series s
No, it is not possible to convert a disc-based license to a digital/virtual license.
But for some reason the copy I owned on virtual when I switched to a series s wasn’t there
And now I can’t use this in person copy
It’s not on the billing either btw
Well, no, you can't use a physical copy on a series s with no drive, that's correct and can't be changed.
You can verify your previous digital purchase throuhg https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders?lang=en-US&period=AllTime&type=All&filterChangeCount=1
If a digital purchase does not appear there then 99% of the time it means it was not purchased with the account you think bought it.
You can look through your various email addresses to find the receipt, the subject lines are basically "Your Microsoft order #....."
There was another account but we both owned Minecraft especially since they got there account off the old Xbox and on there own home Xbox but I was still able to play it and it was owned
only 1 account can own a game.
if that account sets your xbox as its home xbox, then other accounts using that same xbox can play the game on that specific xbox.
this 'home xbox' feature is only for people that live together (not friends, neighbors, etc)
I got Minecraft so many times on different things
Is there no way to get it again without it costing more money?
if your microsoft never purcahsed it then no.
if your account did purchase a version, but it wasn't the Xbox version, then also no.
There have been many versions over the years and buying the PC version didn't necessarily mean you also get an Xbox version, buying Java didn't necessarily mean you got the mobile version, etc
