Whenever i turn on my xbox series s my tv wont show the screen and keeps saying no signal even tho the hdmi is in and everything

my xbox works in my 1080p tv
but on my samsung odyssey g5 monitor it just says no signal, but if i plug in my laptop to hdmi on that monitor it works perfectly fine

My uncle says that the port is dead but I doubt it because I'm not the only one haveing issues
it has to either be a Microsoft issue because its all happening at the same time for other people or its just our luck

I’ve put the Xbox into low resolution mode I’ve reset to default for the monitor I don’t understand why this is happening

I did reset it I pressed the link button and the console button and it went to like 640p or something really bad I tried on my monitor then and still didn’t work

No it does work on my tv I want it on my qhd monitor but it won’t work on that

I switched it’s hdmi a couple of days ago but I’ve tried all my hdmis and none work

All I can say is reset your Xbox at this point
I already did the the reset though but it was the options to keep games and apps
I guess it’s a lost cause at this point I can return the monitor

I would try again for Xbox support. It’s very unlikely they won’t answer, it’s probably that you called outside of business hours
