So one of my first Xbox games was Minecraft and I loved it, I used to share a Xbox but have a separate one now, so the issue exactly is that I can’t play it even though on my older Xbox I owned it and the other account also so it wasn’t that and recently I got game pass so I was playing but now it’s another issue since it’s been expire for a month now and I don’t want to pay for Minecraft again

It was likely a different account that you used to play on

Almost certainly Minecraft was not bought on your account, but someone else who had your old console as Home Xbox.

Yes we shared it but we both owned it especially since the other account owner with Minecraft got a new home Xbox it said I still owned it and it was mine

If you are sure you are supposed to own Minecraft and you have your proof of purchase you can try contacting support

Only a purchaser “owns” a digital game.

You can verify your proof of purcahse either through a receipt email to your account's email address or via https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders?lang=en-US&period=AllTime&type=All&filterChangeCount=1 but using that page is rought, there is no search, and no 'forward / back / skip to... page' options... it is just an insanely long list that you have to scroll
