Having problems logging on xbox online its not automaticly detecting any ip address.. im . running a ethernet cable from my xbox to my laptop. and running my laptop on wifi. anyone else had this issue?

i am using a vpn , i dont know if thats reason why

also i tried setting up a bridge connection and had problems with the error " To create a network bridge , you must select atleast two lan or high speed internet connections that are not being used by internet conneciton sharing

turn off the vpn and give it a shot to see if it works, if not and that guide didn’t work could be a problem in your router and your pc
this is a official guide from microsoft to set up the bridge connection and the connection sharing + some of the requirements in order to do it. you might check it out because if none of them work, like i said could be a problem in your end (pc and router)
