Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.
If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.
If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.
Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
you can follow this guide here https://imgur.com/a/connect-xbox-to-internet-using-windows-pc-network-sharing-1iRNoMs but in any case have you tried common troubleshooting like restarting your pc / console, uplugging and plugging in? also make sure to have all your network settings on the console are set on automatic
my xbox is not connecting to the internet. I don't seem to have a cross on the local area connection. but it does suggest for me to use a smart ftp im not trying to transfer files.
im very confused
do you tried the guide i sent above?, or what stuff you have tried to fix the problem?
yes i tried the guide and it didnt work
i am using a vpn , i dont know if thats reason why
also i tried setting up a bridge connection and had problems with the error " To create a network bridge , you must select atleast two lan or high speed internet connections that are not being used by internet conneciton sharing
turn off the vpn and give it a shot to see if it works, if not and that guide didn’t work could be a problem in your router and your pc
this is a official guide from microsoft to set up the bridge connection and the connection sharing + some of the requirements in order to do it. you might check it out because if none of them work, like i said could be a problem in your end (pc and router)
