hi so im supposedly talking to a support person thru microsoft and thats their domain at the email.
the full email is "microsoftescalationsupport@microsoftsupport.com" and i assume its real cuz i reached out to them instead of vice versa. but the support person is asking for my phone number so they can reach out further. just making sure its actually real before i do that lol

Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).

If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.

i already gave them my service request ticket # idk if that was a bad idea or not
i found their email on microsofts website so i assume its real
so i sent an email to "microsoftescalationsupport@microsoftsupport.com" saying if they requested my phone number just to make sure it wasnt spoofed or anything
i highly doubt its fake but ive never been asked for it before so

so i alrdy did fill out the whole account stolen request but i had also emailed some ppl at microsoft (all their email domains ended in microsoft.com) just cause, i just find it strange theyre asking for a phone number
