#Does Microsoft account country matter when redeeming a code on Xbox?

Hi. So, my Microsoft account's country is Romania, my IP is located in Romania (no VPN) but my Xbox region is Brazil. Can I redeem a Brazilian gift card on my Xbox console? Thanks.

That would be market place fraud. You should set the the region to where you live. I don't believe Romania is supported
