Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.
If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.
If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.
Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
dude the darn thing is like 20 years old ofc it dont work, from what i know, you are doomed
you shouldn’t even be stepping foot in the community support channels lol
Was it the 360 that required a receiver for it to? Or maybe that was just the original Xbox
nah ive used it fine for the past 7~ years
i think its an issue with the battery holder tho
I used to have a white controller that also had a battery holder that worked just fine on the red one
But I have some sort of bootleg wired controller arriving today from amazon
i dont care as long as i can play the games lol
Wait you mean the controller/joystick?
Not the remote?
The remote looks like a TV remote and plays paused movies and stuff
I missed that you’d said “red/black” which can’t be the remote since that only came in white and only read the title lol
Please limit chatter in support threads. Keep replies to helpful post.
Check for battery acid build up. If you have a plug-n-play cable, you can use that to test if it’s a battery/holder issue. If it doesn’t power with the cable, controllers is most likely dead.
plug in play like the odd shaped port on the top of the remote?
i dont think i have one of those
Yes, the odd controller port.
ill order one eventually
