Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.

If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.

In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:

  1. What is your issue?

Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).

  1. What troubleshooting have you tried?

Please list everything you have attempted.

  1. Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.

Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.

If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.

Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.

when it overheats does it turn off with a legend on screen telling that needs proper ventilation?

#

if not isn’t overheating, but still check out that has proper ventilation, you cleaned it up with a vacuum to get off any dust inside and dont have anything above your console

#

placing your console in vertical and doing factory reset could help to reduce the heat too

I think horizontal is better cause the airflow is more effective!

My Xbox is laying free. No boundaries, sitting on a shelf. Two meters away from TV and other things.

Both orientations work great and it is designed specifically for either.

We still haven’t figured out if his console is actually overheating or not unfortunately.
