Cant Play With Friends At All

The "Join Game" option is greyed out and I cant invite friends to games, and when my friend invites me either it doesnt show up at all or it gives me an error message (I have a screenshot of it)

Also I tried pretty much everything (Reseting + reinstalling gamebar \ checking the privacy settings \ checking windows defender settings \ checking my friend's side aswell on his series S \ etc...)

If it’s greyed out then something blocks it. Maybe some settings in your Xbox Application like privacy settings and all related settings!

If it still doesn’t work delete it and clean the Windows registry from the Xbox app entries.

But be careful with deleting entries, just only Xbox App entries!

Use the software Wise registry cleaner and install it if you’re unsure what to delete and what not!

After that’s done install it again and it should be no more greyed out than!

Btw: Did you check your network settings on your router?

Please don’t suggest people to delete items from their registry. That is only needed 1:100000 cases and should only be done under very specific clear direction after all troubleshooting points to that being needed

Doing it randomly without clear direction and without full verification that is needed will lead to far more serious issues.

Also before editing the registry, step 1 is always create a back-up.

sometimes when they are playing for example minecraft since its an online game if you or them might not have the gamepass

Tbh, if you’re asking, you shouldn’t be messing with the registry.

Which game are you trying to join? Are you able to join party and invite party?
