There are mixed opinions on this theme but i can tell yes, they have a bad stick drift!
I bought two of them and get the same error after 3-4 weeks. Used them less often but i decided to send them back to Microsoft and have bought the normal ones! They are great and have no stick drifts and are very responsive!
My first pair got stick drift, but I know it was 100% from me accidentally dropping it. My 2nd pair got in 2022 hasn’t has any stick issues. But does have a noticeable squeak and click in the trigger and bumpers from repetitive use.
Exactly. All controllers are suscpetible to stick drift. Elites are no more likely to get drift than any other controller. Most of us have had a lot of problems with our elites but it is almost never drift.... It is usually the bumper that Zero mentioned or one of the face buttons needing to be pressed super hard to get it to register.
Elites are great and I much prefer them to regular controllers, even without using the back paddles.
Buy it from a place with a good warranty, like Amazon 😉
