Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.
If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.
If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.
Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
Do you have a problem with it, or were you just looking to get it, or what?
It's about an ultimate subscription digital gift card
you need to explain what or ask a question
he's typing
Firstly I bought it online and then I redeemed the code. Then xbox asked me to put my credit card again. Should I put it? And if yes, will it charge me 15€ again?
Yea, so the card you got was a trial card and you will need to put a credit card in to activate it
After you've done that you'll need to go and turn off "recurring billing" so that you don't get charged when your trial expires
Will it cost me 15€?
No, it will only charge you when the time you already bought expires
But I already paid
the instructiosn to turn off recurring billing are at https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/subscriptions-billing/manage-subscriptions/viewing-and-managing-your-memberships
(basically do the opposite of the steps for 'turn on')
yes, you have already paid for a certain amount of time.
the credit card is so that when your time runs out the subscription will renew.
since you do not want the subscription to renew, you have to turn it off
If i turn it off, will it cost me 15€?
No, it will only charge you when the time you already bought expires if you do not turn off recurring billing
It will only charge the tax?
it will not charge anything
So why they need the credit card?
when the time that you have already bought expires, your time runs out.
at that point if you did not turn off recurring billing then you will be charged
becuase that is how basically all trials of monthly subscription services work
the trial is designed to get you excited abotu the product, and they want you to continue buying it lol
Its a Subscription so it works like any other Subscription Netflix Amazon etc it will charge your card each month till you cancel it.
Ok I'll do it. Hope I can trust you guys
you can
Pls don't delete this channel. I need it in case they'll charge me.
They will only charge you if you do not deactivate recurring billing per the official microsoft support site instructions posted above.
I followed the information
Can I cancel the recurring billing before it's activated?
no
Oh
You must enter your credit card information.
Then you must follow the steps to disable recurring billing.
They must be done in that order.
If you do not have your credit card added then "disable it" doesn't make sense and is not possible to do.
So again, if I'll put the credit card they want and cancel the recurring billing, they won't charge me anything, right?
i've typed the same thing several times
Sorry
- put credit card in
- trial is activated
- disable recurring billing
you will not be charged if you follow all 3 steps
I don't won't to be charged 'cause I already paid 9€ for the gift card.
