#Xbox payment issues

I’m basically trying to add a new payment method into my account but it’s continuously saying try again.

The reason I’m doing this in the first place is because I’m trying to pay for gamepass ultimate but that wasn’t working so I’m trying to use my card this time.

I have made sure I have no overdue subscriptions or payments, my account is not suspended or banned. The messages i recieve are “there was a problem on our behalf” and “Try again” but it just won’t work. Is xbox down at the moment? Because this hasn’t happened to me unless xbox is down.

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

make sure your account billing info is up to date and the card is accepted for Continuous payment authority (reoccurring payments) and accepted.
